Celebrating the Life of
August 13, 1996 — March 20, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Jarrid Michael Rentas who left us on March 20, 2024 at the age of 27 years old.
Born on August 13, 1996, he brought immense joy to those around him. Jarrid’s journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength and resilience. His continued unwavering spirit in the face of difficulty was an inspiration to all who knew him.
Jarrid’s passion for cars led him to dedicating his time to studying the field of Auto Mechanics at Gloucester County Technical Institute. He later advanced into a career involving the technical parts of emergency vehicles such as the lights and sirens which highlights his personality because he could bring excitement and joy into every room he entered. He will always be remembered by friends and family for his witty sense of humor, while not many could understand, it was loved by everyone.
Jarrid’s battle against Cancer was one to admire, as he woke up each day with a sense of purpose and determination. Whenever asked how he was doing, he responded with “livin’ the dream” and no matter what came his way he never lost that outlook on life. His strength will continue to live on through his loved ones, who will continue to look back on memories of him with fondness.
Jarrid leaves behind many friends and family, including his Mother, Christine Dalton, and Father, Robert Dalton, siblings Dylan (Maddison) Bevans, and Jacob Bevans, and step-siblings Robert Dalton Jr. (Jasmine Hickey) and Skylar Dalton (Nick Phelps), along with many extended family members.
Memorial services held in Delaware will be private, and attended by close family and friends.
Please share a photo or video, or post a heartfelt condolence to the family.
