James Edward Confer 5/18/1971 to 1/31/2025
James Known by all as Jim passed away January 31, 2025, in Hampton, VA.
He is survived by his father Don Hanson, mother Nancy Hanson, brother Ray Confer (Debbie) children Derek Lemont, Kat Steinbruegge (Marc), Elizabeth Confer (Sam), and Allison Confer. Niece Sierra and Nephew Joshua.
Jim lived to the fullest with his love of music, gardening, cooking, baking and family. He was able to make friends wherever he went with a friendly smile and corny dad jokes.
Nancy: I love you Jimmy
Ray: He was a good soul and the reason for anything for anything musical in my life.
Allison: I love you, Daddy. I will miss you and our conversations and time sitting by the fire and cooking together. I hope you are at peace.
There will be a memorial service in Hampton where Jim lived on February 22 at 2:00 PM at Peninsula Community Church in Yorktown, VA.
