James Edward Rogers Jr. age 75, passed away on 8-31-2024 in Broomfield Colorado. Jim was born on February 22nd 1949, in Upland, Pennsylvania to Marion Louise and James Edward Rogers Sr. He graduated Littleton High School in 1967. Jim then went on to enlist into the Navy in 1969. He was stationed in Alaska for over two years. During his time there he managed a bowling alley on base which is where his passion for bowling grew even more. After receiving an honorable discharge, Jim returned home and started working as a photoconductor lab tech at
IBM/Lexmark, located in Boulder Colorado in 1973. Jim married Tommie Sue Medlin on May 21st 1988 in the beautiful backyard of their home in Broomfield Colorado. Jim retired at the age of 54 after being with Lexmark for 30 years. He was a man of integrity and pride, full of immense knowledge, and a love of history. His hobbies included reading, gardening, traveling, couponing, bowling, and hiking, especially, with his best friend Mike. Jim will be remembered with honor as a navy veteran and an amazing husband, father, brother, cousin and uncle. He is preceded in death by his son Neil Edward Rogers (son of Mary Rogers), his mother Marion, and father James. Jim is survived by his brothers Rob, and Thomas Rogers, wife Tommie Sue and his children Jesse, Kyle and Kelsey.
