Jacqueline Ripley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 11, 2023 in Flagstaff, AZ USA at the age of 70. She was born on February 14, 1953 to her parents, Ed and Irene Slowiak, in Stanley, WI.
Jackie will be remembered for her kind heart, unconditional love and acceptance, and sharp sense of humor. She touched many lives, and maintained lifelong friendships from her time growing up in Franklin Park, Il, working at Motorola in Mesa, Az, and working and eventually retiring from Gore in Flagstaff, Az.
Jackie is preceded in death by her daughter Kym, grandson Mason, and her parents, Ed and Irene. She is survived by her husband, George Ripley Sr, her daughter Kristen Frazer, son-in-law Andrew Balazs, Olive Balazs, sons, Buddy Ripley and Ryan Corey Ripley, as well as many stepchildren, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, Maci. Jackie was also a beloved sister to her siblings, Bini Slowiak Husain, Sherri O'Brien, and Doug Slowiak.
A celebration of Jackie's life will be held in her honor. Her family and friends will gather virtually to share memories and stories of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sky Sanctuary (skysanctuary.org) in Jacqueline's name. Her love for animals will continue to live on through these donations.
Jackie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
