In Loving Memory of Jacqueline Linton Cummins
Jacqueline Linton Cummins, affectionately known as Radianté Jacqueline, left this world on September 12, 2023, leaving behind a legacy that will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She was a woman ahead of her time, a trailblazer who brought a touch of glamour and self-care to Pensacola, FL, as she proudly launched the first day spa in the city. We can only imagine that her beloved husband, Dr. Robert E. Cummins, is embracing her arrival in heaven, their love eternal. He was the love of her life and the one who affectionately named her Radianté for her inner and outer beauty.
Radianté Jacqueline's life was filled with an exquisite blend of passions. Her fingers danced gracefully across piano keys, and her voice soared in beautiful songs that filled the hearts of those fortunate enough to hear her. She had a deep appreciation for fashion, with a particular fondness for high heels, owning an awe-inspiring collection of over 500 pairs. To her, it seemed, the saying held true: "She with the most shoes wins."
For more than four decades, Jacqueline called her sprawling home in Cordova Park her sanctuary, where she surrounded herself with beauty and embraced all things glamorous and feminine. Yet, amidst the glamour, her heart was touched by the divine. Her faith was unwavering, and her gift of prayer touched the lives of countless souls. Her Day Spa, more than a place for self-care, was a haven where people were not only pampered but also embraced, prayed for, and encouraged. Beyond the walls of her spa, Jacqueline's kindness shone brightly. Her business became an unofficial ministry, offering purpose and employment to the finest industry talents in the region. She believed that "every day is a party, we just don't know who's coming yet."
Jacqueline's pioneering spirit was evident, as her Day Spa was one of the first in the South Eastern United States to offer innovative European Spa services and products. She was blessed with the opportunity to obtain the best training in the industry, having studied in Paris, France and Barcelona, Spain. She took immense pride in providing women with a place to rejuvenate, have fun, and forge meaningful connections.
As we bid farewell to Radianté Jacqueline, her radiant spirit lives on in our hearts. She leaves behind a world that is brighter for having known her, and we are grateful for the beauty she brought into our lives. We are comforted knowing that her prayers will extend over us all for generations.
Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude especially to Jacqueline's daughter, Cheri Hlubek, and her devoted husband, Jim Hlubek, for their unwavering dedication in providing Jacqueline with the best care in her final days. We are forever grateful for their generosity towards her, and for welcoming her into their home with open hands and hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Adopt a Grandparent, (https://venmo.com/Adopt_A_GrandParent) , to provide comfort, warmth, and a sense of appreciation to neglected seniors. The donations will provide them with comfortable blankets, clothing, and essentials. Our mission is to bring a little extra love and care into the lives of these precious people, letting them know that they are valued and cherished.

I had the opportunity to work and train under one of the most elegant most sophisticated beautiful women Miss Jacquelyn. Thank you for everything . Sending love to Cheri and Angela.

My grandmother, my Mimi will be missed so much. I had the opportunity to know her and love her in a very special way as she welcomed me into her home for many years! During our time together, I got to see her pray, help her dress (fastening those little buckles on her high heels), and listen to her sing and play her piano. She was a very talented woman who had a gift with aesthetics: whether it was beauty, fashion, or her home, she took great pride in making the world around her beautiful. I miss waking up to the sound of her piano rumbling before church on Sunday morning, and I will always miss taking her out with me as I was always so proud to show her off! This photo was taken on her birthday in 2019, I always tried to make her feel special and cared for! On this occasion we had a ‘brunch’ at home full of her favorite things, roses, chicken salad, and Sinatra! Thank you for praying over me everyday and for loving me. Thank you for making me laugh and for showing me the silly side of you that not everyone knew about. Your ‘twinkle’ will never fade in my heart and memories. No one can ever replace you Mimi. You have changed my life for the better and I will miss you forever. Love you to the ends of the earth. ❤️ - your Ellie

After reading this it sparked so many memories with Jackie, on numerous occasions she sang acappella the National Anthem at our numerous 4th of July events not to mention the times she would be in our home and start playing the piano that would get the whole family into a gospel sing. She was truly a woman of faith that inspired me on numerous occasions. She was truly Radiante Jacqueline✝️🎼
