Celebrating the Life of
June 11, 1936 — April 13, 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Irene Edith Rondinaro, who passed away on April 13th at the age of 87.
Born on June 11th, 1936, in Harrisburg Pennsylvania, she grew up in Beaver Dams New York and later moved to Arlington, Texas . She was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband Dominick (Nick) Rondinaro, and a devoted mother to her children Eric, Mary, Brian and Kim.
She lived a fulfilling life, and was a woman of many talents. She was a devout Christian and devoted considerable time to studying the Bible and teaching her children and grandchildren how to live according to the Gospel. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and many of her homemade family dishes will remain the highlight of family gatherings. She also was an accomplished writer and spent her free time writing poems, children’s stories and memoirs about her life, documenting her youth in post-depression America as well as many historic events that she witnessed throughout her lifetime.
Irene was a kind and generous soul, always more concerned of others’ needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her infectious smile and warm personality.
She is survived by her sons Eric and Brian and daughters Mary and Kim, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.
A private funeral service will be held for immediate family members only.
Rest in peace, dear mother. You will forever be in our hearts and memories.
Please share a photo or video, or post a heartfelt condolence to the family.

Nana with her grandchildren, Natalie and Nicholas. This is my favorite picture of my brother Nicholas and I with her at Luby’s. My Nana helped raise us two while our parents were at work. She taught me a lot of things, like making scrambled eggs in the morning, and washing the dishes. I’m a pro at it now! She also taught me about the Bible and got me closer to god. She was the best grandma you could ask for. She was always happy and always made sure her grandkids and family was taken care of. My favorite dish she made when I came over to spend the night was rigatoni’s. She loved to make her house look nice and cute during the holidays, I loved her Christmas and Halloween decorations. I remember she would clean my stuffed animal doggie and I would get so worried when he was in the washer and dryer, but she told me that he will be ok and he would be happier all nice and cleaned. She took good care of me and my brother. I will miss her everyday and I know that she is watching over me and the family. I love you so much nana, I will always be your sweet girl. Forever in my heart. Natalie Rondinaro

Family gathering shortly after Mom and Dad moved to Texas. At Mary and Rex's house, Christmas time.

Mom and Dad loved singing and performing in their younger days. I think this was taken at Aunt Nina and Uncle Larrys wedding.
