Ines Sanchez

Inés Sánchez, born on December 28, 1949, passed away this February 5, 2024, in Flushing, NY. She was the daughter of Bolivar and Maximina Sánchez Bisbicus, in Tumaco, Nariño, Colombia. Sister to her five siblings, Alicia, Dolores, Amparo, Stella, and Bolivar.

Wife of the late Hernando Jurado, and mother to Jazmin Jurado, Grandmother to Daniel, Saarah, and Leonardo.

From humble beginnings to becoming a beloved educator, she was a prime example of where dedication and hard work can get you.

She had a love for travel, music, and above all, her family.

A generous soul, she touched the lives of everyone she met. Always ready to give of herself, she was an incredible woman.
