Homer Lloyd Stanley

Homer Lloyd Stanley, age 88, passed away on February 23, 2024, at 7:35 pm. at a local Tyler hospital after suffering from a short bout of pneumonia. He was born on March 20, 1935, in Diana, Texas, to Johnnie Stanley and Annie Lorraine Goodson Parnell, married to Esther Stanley. He was currently a retired mechanic and veteran of 35 years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, step father, “Pawpaw”, and uncle and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Dianne Stanley O’Con, his parents, Johnnie Stanley and Annie Lorraine Goodson Stanley Parnell, and his son-in-law, Robert Keith Thompson. He is survived by Esther Stanley, his wife, his children, Mike and Tina Stanley, Randy and Toni Stanley, Cindy and Ottie Williams, Lorrie Stanley Thompson, David Stanley, Billy and Nicole Stanley, Tim and Tami Stanley, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends n whose lives he touched are invited to celebrate his joypus life at 12:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2401 North Broadway, Tyler, Tx, on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
