Hedy Ramos de Sanchez

Con corazones agradecidos recordamos a nuestra querida Cusinguita — una mujer excepcional de fe, esposa fiel, madre amorosa, abuela y bisabuela. Fue un regalo precioso de Dios, cuya vida reflejó humildad, fortaleza y amor incondicional.



Durante casi 69 años caminó de la mano de su amado esposo, construyendo un hogar cimentado en el amor, el sacrificio y la devoción. Su familia fue siempre su mayor misión. A través de su servicio silencioso y sus oraciones constantes, se convirtió en el corazón y el lazo que mantuvo unida a nuestra familia.



Vivió una vida plena y bendecida, colmada de alegrías y sostenida por la fe en medio de las pruebas. Aun en los momentos difíciles, su fortaleza nunca flaqueó, porque su confianza estaba puesta en el Señor.

La extrañaran profundamente su amado esposo, Luis Alfonso Sanchez; sus hijos, Jorge Luis Sanchez(Randy), Carlos Eduardo Sanchez, Maria De Los Angeles Wiley(Bobby), y Ana Cristina Wood(Devin); sus nietos, Marcela Wetzl(Ryan), Eduardo Sanchez(Kayle), Catalina Petrillo(Frankie), Andres Giraldo(Liz), Juan Felipe Vanegas(Kacy), y María Paula Da Silva(Jan); y sus bisnietos, Gabriela, Oliver, Niko, Mila, Natalia, JT, Vera, y Georgie. También la recuerdan con cariño sus hermanos(as) Alfredo, Yolanda, Ximena, Alexandra y Diana, y sus numerosos sobrinos(as).

El 1 de enero de 2026, fue llamada a la presencia del Señor y ahora descansa en paz eterna, reunida con sus padres, Jorge Ramos y Alicia Carvajal, hermanos(as) Gladys, Nelsy, Guiomar, Alicia, Diego, y Rafael.

With grateful hearts, we remember our beloved Cusinguita — an exceptional woman of faith, a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a precious gift from God, whose life reflected humility, strength, and unconditional love.



For almost 69 years, she walked faithfully beside her beloved husband, building a home rooted in love, sacrifice, and devotion. Her family was her greatest calling. Through quiet acts of service and steadfast prayer, she became the heart and the glue of our family — a source of comfort, wisdom, and grace.



She lived a full and beautiful life, blessed with many joys and sustained by faith through life’s trials. Even in hardship, her strength never wavered, for her trust was always in the Lord.



She is deeply missed by her husband, Luis Alfonso Sanchez; her children, Jorge Luis Sanchez(Randy), Carlos Eduardo Sanchez, Maria De Los Angeles Wiley(Bobby), and Ana Cristina Wood(Devin); her grandchildren, Marcela Wetzl(Ryan), Eduardo Sanchez(Kayle), Catalina Petrillo(Frankie), Andres Giraldo(Liz), Juan Felipe Vanegas(Kacy), and María Paula Da Silva(Jan); and her great-grandchildren, Gabriela, Oliver, Niko, Mila, Natalia, JT, Vera, and Georgie. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Alfredo, Yolanda, Ximena, Alexandra y Diana, and by countless nephews(nieces), great grandnephews(grandnieces).



On January 1, 2026, she was called home to be with the Lord and is now reunited in eternal peace with her parents, Jorge Ramos and Alicia Carvajal, siblings Gladys, Nelsy, Guiomar, Alicia, Diego, and Rafael.
