Harold Lee McConnell 71, of Pardeeville formerly of Marshall, WI passed away August 5, 2024.
He was born in Jackson, MI to Eldon and Helen (Shearer) McConnell September 7, 1952.
He was preceded in death by his father Eldon, and his sister Cynthia (Rick) Danks.
He is survived by his wife Debra (Jeffrey) McConnell, son Jason, step children Sherri Boothe, David (Dawnrae) Smith, Isaac (Crystal).
Grandchildren, Trey and Nathan Cecil, Sebastion McConnell. Step grandchildren, Jessica, Michael and Jared Boothe. Cayla and Kennedy Smith, Jacob and Jackson Smith. Three step great grandchildren.
His mother, Helen (McConnell) Kimball, step father, Harold Kimball, brothers Gary McConnell, Ken (Athena) McConnell, sister Laura (Phil) Mead Numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, neices and cousins.
Harold loved fishing with grandchildren with whom he showed great patience in helping put worms on hooks and untangling tangled fishing line. Any day fishing was a good day.
He loved ballroom dancing and he and his wife Debra took many hours of ballroom dance classes
He lived playing scrabble (on the scrabble board he played with his grandparents on) with his grandsons.
Harold was a manufacturing Plant Manager for Sussek Machine in Waterloo, Anderson Machine in Jefferson and had a management position with the Sieloff Corporation in Mineral Point Wi.
Harold was a man of many talents and could fix anything He loved tinkering in his garage and among his favorite things were things his grandsons gave him for the walls. Such as a sign that read, Papa's Fix it shop, open 24/7, toys fixed free. And. My garage, my rules.
There will be no service per Harold's wishes.
