Gordon Nelson

Gordon R. Nelson, A beloved son, brother and friend, passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 58 in Sandy utah. He was born April 5, 1966, to Neal Mead Nelson and Connie Joene Richins.
Gordon was a man of many talents, renowned for his mastery in everything he pursued. Whether it was his work, hobbies, or skills he excelled and brought passion to all he did. He had a deep love for RC cars, boating and the work he dedicated himself to, finding joy in the precision and care required in every endeavor.
One of Gordon's greatest passions was Rosewood Garden, owned by his mother, which held a special place in his heart. The garden center became a symbol of his connection to family and his commitment to nurturing the beauty around him.
Gordon is survived by his loving parents Neal and Connie) sister and brother (Linda Jackson, Laura Mullinax, Chris Nelson), Daughter (Alexis Nelson), and many Nieces and Nephews. And a community of friends who will forever remember his generosity, dedication and zest for life. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to be apart of his life.
He is preceded in death by is Brother Doug Nelson, Brother in law Perry Jackson, Paul Engh.
A celebration of Gordon's life will be held at The church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints 8945 So. 1700 E. Sandy, UT. On January 18, 2025 at 11am.
