Glenn Wesley Ewalt II
February 2, 1963 – May 31, 2025
With great sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Glenn Wesley Ewalt II who left this world on May 31, 2025. He was 62 years old.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Patricia and Glenn Sr, and his brothers Lonnie Ewalt, Oliver Braman and Charles Ewalt. Though they left before him, they never left his heart. Glenn remained surrounded by more family than any man could ask for—people who loved him deeply and will carry his memory forward with pride.
His loved ones are spread far and wide—from Michigan in the North to Alabama in the South—but distance never changed the love they shared. To Glenn, if you were close enough to be a friend, you were family.
Family that will always carry him in their hearts includes:
In Michigan:
• Rodney Ewalt & Family
• Lance Ewalt & Family
In Alabama:
• Angie Sides & Family
• Robbie Thornell & Family
• Gloria Neville & Family
• Kristina Archie & Family
• Tyler Torres & Family
Glenn’s greatest pride in life was being a father. His children, Elizabeth Ewalt and Steven Gleason, were his heart and soul. He often said that being their dad was his greatest accomplishment— and he meant it.
Glenn was a man of few words, and even fewer emotions worn outwardly. He wasn’t one for small talk or gossip—instead, he preferred deep conversations about government, current events, and his favorite topic: conspiracy theories. He loved boats and was fascinated by Orangutan Island, a place he always hoped to visit one day.
Though quiet and set in his ways, Glenn had a dependable heart. If you needed someone to listen or be there in your time of need, he was there—without judgment and with an open mind and a listening ear. And unbiased advice to share.
A number of close friends will also carry his memory: James Square, Todd, Troy, Gabby, Kirsten, Michele, Ann, and Stephanie—and many more whose names aren’t listed, but whose bond with Glenn was just as strong.
A host of online friends will miss their gaming buddy too—someone who made even virtual spaces feel like home.
Glenn’s legacy isn’t one of grand gestures or loud declarations—but of loyalty, love, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were lucky enough to know him.
