Frank "Franco" Maida

In loving memory of, Frank "Franco" Maida, 73, of Milford, PA, who passed away on April 21, 2024 after 73 years around the sun. He was born on July 25, 1950 in Calabria, Italy. He immigrated to the U.S in 1958 and grew up in Mamaroneck, NY. Frank is survived by his beloved wife Kathy O'Maley Maida, son Christopher Maida, and daughter Sara Wisniewski. He was a devoted "Nonno" to his grandsons Leo Maida, Jack Maida, Levi Wisniewski, and brother to his five siblings. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

One of the kindest souls on this planet, he was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family and friends had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage and never complained. As an immigrant, he learned early in life the importance of hard work and instilled that same work ethic in his children. He was a man of strong faith and he taught us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right.

Franco was a long time parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church and a proud member of the local Knights of Columbus Council. He found joy in painting, golfing, and volunteering his time to build houses for Habitat for Humanity. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Frank was a true role model who we will always look up to.

To honor his life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church; 101 Saint Vincent Drive, Milford, PA 18337.

Franco will be remembered for his passion for life and his dedication to his family, community, and faith.

You are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in the sweetest peace.
