Elsie Evadney Finlayson also known as June of
Westmoreland who passed away on Friday April 21st at the age of 82.
She is survived by her
Ex-husband -Archie Finlayson in Jamaica
Son- Donald in the USA
Daughter-in-Law Tavannie in the USA
Grandchildren- Kiara and Brendon in the USA
Sisters- Despy and Veronica
Brother- Balford
Brother-in-law- Byron
Sister-in-law Bibi, Beastie, Etheline and Sonia
Many nieces and nephews in USA, Canada and UK including Delicia in the UK
Her Caretakers- Clair, Etheline and Maureen
Many relative and friends in the US, Canada, UK and the surrounding area including Keisha Bromfield-Chaplin, Clarke/Flemmings Family in the US, Boakes Family in the UK, Norma Wilson and Family in Canada, Jackie Linton and family in USA, Braveboy Family in the USA, members of the Sutcliff Mt. Baptist Church and members of the Buddhist community in the US.
Funeral service for the late Elsie Evadney (Anderson) Finlayson will be held Saturday May 20th, 2023 11am at Sutcliff Mt. Baptist Church in Whithorn and burial at Honeygan’s Memorial Gardens

My deepest condolences to the Finlayson family. I have know Elsie since the early 90's and we have maintain a good relationship since then. My favourite and wonderful Aunty June. We both are born in June that is me first connection to you. I always looked up to you. You always welcomed me and showed me family love, unity, values and support, She shared so many things with me. She gave me so many memories. She watched me grow with understanding. I will miss her, we will miss her and the kindness and love she always showed us. For me she is pure love. To Donald and family your mum and Grandma was super special and your are a beautiful product of her. She is irreplaceable. This is a huge loss to our family, may her memory and love live forever!! Thank you for the life lessons you have taught me, I will continue to include them in my life daily. Your last advise to me was "Take care of yourself." I did not understand it then, but now I do.
