Thank God for the life that Mama lived. My husband Emmanuel Olasoji Mayaki was Mama’s first son. My husband loved and cherished his mother and tried to do whatever he could to meet her needs. Despite the distance between how we were living at the time, Mama always loved to talk and pray for us on the phone. Mama was very passionate about her grandchildren and always asked about their well being. A few of years ago, Mama sent one of her daughters, Mrs Yemi Oladokun to go to USA to check on the well being of her grandchildren. Years after, her grandchildren also came to spend some time with Mama at Ibadan, Oyo State. We all pray that Mama’s soul will continue to rest in perfect peace in Jesus name 🙏🏾 Amen. Tomisin Mayaki Daughter-in-law
Grandma, you lived a long , wonderful life. Though you will be missed here on earth, you are with our Father in heaven. God bless you forever. Love you. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4 Toke, Toyin, and Tolu
How do I describe Mummy as I called her. She embodied the word indefatigable. I have been friends with her second daughter Dupe for over two decades and has become an adopted daughter to her. Our moments together are unforgettable, filled with her entertaining dramas, doggedness and wittiness. In a way Dupe & I believed she and my late mother were sisters in another world because of their similar mannerisms. They always drew attention wherever they were and would not be disregarded or disrespected. Mummy is a model of how we should live our old age. She was fiercely independent and stood strong till the end. She was also deeply religious and loved and served Christ with all her being. I still cherish and have the wrapper she gave me when I visited Ibadan many years ago. Her special name for me was Chinwene. Adieu Mummy! I am glad you went to your creator peacefully at a ripe & fulfilled age. I thank God for a life well spent. May your beautiful soul rest in the bosom of Christ.
Mummy dear was how I fondly called Mama Bendel in our growing up year's. I was a friend to all her children despite been Taiye's friend . She trusted the 'bongies' to my care without a second thought. Mummy was as loving as she was strict and she was quite accommodating, trusting and caring. Mummy will prepare my meal with her children's before leaving for her shop at the Gbaji market then notwithstanding that I may not even come over that day. Mummy is the definition of the Yoruba's ethos of Iyaniwura Iyebiye. May mummy dear soul rest in peace in her life-after riding the rainbows with joy in her heavenly home. God be with your soul Mama Bendel till we meet at God's domain. Demola Akintola
We send our sincere condolence to the entire Ajayi and Anomoeguale's families. As my father's people will say in Ibo..Nneoma or Ezinne ( Good mother). My mother's people will say in Yoruba, Iya ni wura (Mother is gold). You personified a sweet mother.. You welcomed me with open hands when we first met and showed me motherly love. Mama, you raised great children. That, to me, is the mark of a great mother. Amongst them is my dear friend and sister:- Dupe ( omo iyami). Thank God for a life well lived. We will all miss you. We pray for all the family members left behind by Mama for God's grace to bear this irreparable loss. May Mama's soul continue to rest in the Lord. Amen.. Sun re o... Ijeoma.... From:- My husband, children, and I (Stellamaris Omo).
In loving memory of my dear grandma, whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of everyone she met. May her memory be a blessing, and may we find solace in the beautiful moments we shared together. Rest peacefully, Grandma. Dorcas Oladokun
Good night Mama. The Holy Spirit will comfort and keep all that you left behind in Jesus name.🙏 John Oladokun
