Born Eleni Boudounis, in Laconia, Greece, passed away in San Diego, California, on April 18, 2024 at the age of 85.
Beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, yiayia and friend. Elena's vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Her passion for singing filled hearts with joy, and her green thumb brought life to every corner of her garden.
Though small in stature, Elena's fiery determination and fierce love for her family knew no bounds. She was larger than life. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, warmth, and unwavering strength. In the embrace of her family and memories shared by friends, Elena's spirit will forever thrive.
As we bid farewell to our dear Elena, may her melodies linger in our hearts, and may her garden continue to bloom as a testament to her enduring love. Rest in peace, our dearest Eleni. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will forever live on.
