August 27, 1968 — February 10, 2024
In loving memory of Edward Thomas Steinborn, a cherished soul who graced this world from August 27th, 1968, until his passing on February 10th, 2024, in Michigan City, Indiana.
Edward, known for his boundless love for his family and the joy he brought to friends, was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew him. His passion for fishing and the serenity he found at Washington Park were outshined only by the happiness he spread and the selfless care he extended to others. His laughter was infectious, his heart generous, and his presence a comfort to everyone around him.
He leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor his legacy:
- His son, Andrew Thomas Steinborn (born June 6, 1991), and his beloved grandchildren Treyvaugh Thomas (2014), Frances Lynn (2015), and Andrew Thomas Jr. (2016).
- His caring daughter, Angelique Steinborn (born June 30, 2000), her husband Zachary Scott of Athens, and their children, the bright lights of his life, Evynell (2020), Brycson (2021), and Aurora (2023).
- His Devoted son, Corey Steinborn (born July 1, 2003), a testament to Edward's strength and kindness.
- His beautiful daughter, Doreen Steinborn (born October 22, 2004), who reflects her father's warmth and compassion.
Edward is also survived by his loving sister, Patti Heberer of Rolling Prairie, and his cherished nephew, Jarrael Henry, and wife, Samantha Henry.
His memory will also be treasured by his brothers, Ralph & Christine Hogarth of Theresa, New York, and Ray & Tina Hogarth of Buckley, Michigan, along with the many friends and relatives whose lives he touched.
