Edison “Arthur” Adam Billiot, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 18th, 2024 in New Orleans, La.
Edison was born on December 26th, 1933, in Lafitte, La to Charles Lovency L'Artigues Billiot and Loasia Marguerite Verdin.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, 8 of his 11 siblings, his wife, Tammy Crochet, and sons, Brett Billiot, Sr. Edison “Butch” Billiot, Jr. And Timothy “Timmy” Billiot, Sr.
He is survived by brother, Charles Lovance Billiot, and sisters, Bevelin Rosalie Billiot Chautin and Theresa Rita Billiot Templet, half sister, Mary Ann Ronquille Landry, Children Lucretia Billiot, Pandora “Pam” Billiot Stanley (Ken), Michael Billiot (Amenda), Kirby Billiot (Christine), Jacqueline "Jackie" Billiot Salisbury (Stanley), Gregory Billiot (Kelli), and Chase Crochet, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
While alive, Edison worked as a carpenter and would frequently talk about the amazing buildings he worked on throughout the New Orleans area. Some of his hobbies included fishing, spending time outdoors, working in the garden, and volunteering with his church. He will be remembered as a kind man, who always had a story to share.
