Please join us downstairs in the church gathering hall for a light potluck to share stories, photos and fellowship over refreshments. Potlucks were one of Doug's favorite ways to enjoy community. He was also proud of his smoked salmon dip recipe. Your favorite finger foods and desserts are heartily welcome. Diet Coke will be served, naturally. (Along with coffee and water)

Doug showed up for family dinner at our home in Valdez after a quick vacation to Minnesota. He came back with the MVP Award for an Alumni Baseball tournament, and the news stunned us! This guy in his 40s had played serious baseball AND was so good that he was MVP?? He had so many hidden talents and the very best stories of his adventures.
Dear Audrey and family. I am so sorry for your loss. But at the same time I know your heart rejoice that he is home. That is a good thing about being a believer in God is that we know our family members are not actually gone when they move on they go home. That allows us to look forward to the time that we will get to see them again when it is our time to go home as well. Sending Faith, Love and Comfort during this time in the Bible, Jesus says to let our feelings be felt, but to not stay in them to always move forward. I wish I lived closer by so I could give you all a hug and be there to be a shoulder to cry on. I hope you have the love and support you need at this time. With much love, Thera.
