Donald Gordon Moser, age 56, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, in Argyle, Texas surrounded by family. He was born on November 22, 1965, in Dallas, Texas to Lynda Beth Richardson-Grimes and James Rowden Moser.
Donald was a graduate of Tarrant County Community College. He married Terry Moser on November 17, 2007 in Las Vegas. Donald worked as a Senior Fire Consultant for 17 years.
He was a dedicated civil servant that protected his community as a Lieutenant firefighter/paramedic, police officer, and SWAT Tactical Medic, serving Colleyville, Bedford, Westlake, and Blue Mound. He also served as the Mayor of Argyle, Texas from 2017 - 2020.
His passions included tinkering with cars, small building projects, guiding/fixing things his son-in-law broke, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. Donald will be remembered as a loving husband, a caring father, and the world's best Poppy, giving civil servant, and a great friend.
Donald is survived by his wife, Terry, his children, Meranda Moser, Samantha Krider (Kail), and Zackery Westgard, and his grandchildren, Bodhi Krider and Madelyn Krider, his sisters, Brenda Muncey and Connie Hartman (Richard), his niece and nephew, Sara Dehart (Chris) and David Hartman (Delania), and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at The Well Community Church, 600 FM 407 West, Argyle, TX, 76226 on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 1:30 p.m..

Don was a person I called a true friend. He was a great mentor for many people during his life.
We are so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. He fought hard. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Don was a great guy, he made me laugh on many occasions while he worked in Bedford (usually at inappropriate times) He is one of my hero’s.
You shall be missed my friend.

Don and I went to several schools together including Arson and Investigations school. A great man!
