Donald Allen Coull “Donny”

Donald Allen Coull, aged 58, of Newport, Vermont, passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2023. He was born on June 26, 1965, in Springfield, Vermont to the late Ernest Frank Coull Sr. and Margaret Mary Mossey (Fuller). Donald's presence will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Donald was predeceased by his parents, stepfather Raymond Fuller Sr., wife Amanda L. Coull, twin brother David A. Coull Sr., and stepbrother Raymond Fuller Jr.

Donald leaves behind his children, Dee Bolio Rowe (Mike), Joshua S. Coull (Rachel), Eric Morrissey, Richard Cushman, Corbin Coull, and Taylor Coull. Brothers, Fredrick Coull(Carol), and Ernest Coull Jr. Nieces and Nephews, David Jr, Ashlyn, Chelsea, Brandon, Ricky, Ashley, Robert, Amanda and their families. 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Many great nieces and nephews, and friends near and far.

Donald worked as a carpenter and was a man of many trades. He never met a stranger and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand when needed. His loud, boisterous spirit was unmatched and will be missed tremendously.

Donald walked through life to the beat of his own drum. His love for music was well known and will always be remembered. You’d often catch him tapping along to the beat of the music. At a young age he began playing the drums with his stepfather Raymond in their band “The Old Time Fiddlers.” He had been in many bands throughout his life and enjoyed having a good time with good people. Annual pig roasts held by Donald and his twin brother David will surely be missed.

Family will plan to hold a memorial service at a later date to honor and celebrate his life. Details of the service will be shared with friends and family in the coming months.
