Diana Olvera Sprinkle (1958 - 2024)
Loving friend, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Diana Olvera Sprinkle, 65, of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, passed peacefully in her sleep on February 8th, 2024.
She was born in Glendale, California on October 19, 1958, to Manny and Yvonne Olvera. Diana was the second child of four – Linda, Diana, Susan, and Steven. As a family, they loved to adventure. Camping trips, swimming in their pool or to nearby Lopez Lake, riding bikes around their neighborhood in Glendora, road trips to Idaho, and vacations to Catalina with Grandma Hope. She loved music – from Pink Floyd to Cat Stevens to Christian Hymns.
Diana’s beloved son, Kenneth, was born in 1981, in Santa Maria. In September 1988, Diana married John Sprinkle. Throughout her life she was also a devoted friend - Diana will live on through memories of her service and love. Diana found joy through helping others in her professional life as well, through work and volunteering. She cherished animals - while working as a caregiver, she brought her dog Lucy with her who worked as a therapy dog. Diana will also be remembered for her strong faith in God. One of her favorite scriptures was I Corinthians 16:14, “Let all that you do be done in love.”
Diana was preceded in death by parents Manny and Yvonne Olvera. She is survived by sisters Linda Fuqua and Susan Thorpe, brother Steven Olvera, son Kenneth Olvera, grandchildren Anthony, Aliyah, and Ethan Olvera, and great-grandchildren Kacey and Raelynn Olvera.
