May 31, 1954 — February 6, 2024
Dennis Ray Quinn 69, of Pahrump, Nevada passed away and joined the Lord on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Dennis had been battling complications related to heart disease for a few years. It was recently discovered that significant cancer had spread and it was a battle too significant to overcome.
Dennis is remembered for his infectious smile and his boisterous laugh. He was humble and rarely discussed his accomplishments. Dennis is known by many to be a great friend, funny, kind, empathetic and playfully competitive. He would say his greatest accomplishments in life are being a father and a grandfather, he loved his family dearly. Most who knew him would say he is a true Legend in the Aviation Industry. He was a dedicated genius on a team tasked to transition Jeppesen charting from paper to digital format, globally.
Dennis is survived by his daughters, Lisa Quinn and Rob Crouch of Divide, CO, Jolene and John Ehrhardt, grandchildren Alyssa and Tate of Parker, CO and his rescued black cat, Melvin.
Dennis' surviving siblings - Vickie Sullivan, Billy, David, and Gary Quinn.

Dennis was a dear friend, He had an infectious laugh. Loved to have fun and to laugh. Even when he didnot feel well he laughed at everthing. God Love him. Dennis will be missed dearly by all who knew him. By the Avation Business and by his family. A true great person. God Bless Dennis.
Dennis was a truly good and decent person who was always gracious and appreciative of his care from me as his cardiologist and also his friend. He dodged many bullets in his life with many near misses on his lifelong journey with cardiovascular disease. I always looked forward to seeing him but was constantly worried about winning the battle. I’m sorry to hear of his cancer which just does not seem fair considering all his other maladies. He however continued to be upbeat and positive for the most part not really engaging in self pity. I will miss him— a truly special person Richard Jantz MD
I will always remember Dennis’s humor, jokes and other antics. I will miss chatting with him and will miss his advice to me concerning my kiddos… Dennis was my “go to”when I couldn’t figure if I should just runaway from home or shoot the boys. He was indeed a good friend. I will miss Dennis very much, but I also know he’s in a better place. RIP, my friend ❤️❤️❤️
Dennis was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. He saved my life with his mere compassion and non-judgment. He also happened to create and raise two amazing daughters, Jolene and Lisa. They turned out to be amazing humans as well. I am lucky to count them both as best friend. Rest In Peace my surrogate dad. So fly high! You are amongst the angels now. Love and miss you Dennis Quinn!
