Debbra Lynn Nussell, also known as Deb, passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 59 in Lakeland, Florida. She was born on February 28, 1964, in Elgin, Illinois. Deb was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, Mimi and friend. She spent over 25 years caring for the public as a nurse and most recently served as a nurse educator at Watson Clinic. Deb was known for her compassion, love, and selflessness. She embodied the qualities of a Proverbs 31 woman and loved everyone she met, just as Jesus does. Her faith in the Lord was evident in everything she did. Deb was married to her husband, George Michael Nussell, for 30 years. Her pride and joy were her children, Brittany Fuller (Jason), Briana Nussell (Darren) , and Michael Nussell, as well as her grandchildren, Levi Jay Fuller and DJ Powe. She cherished her family and spent her spare time loving and serving them. Deb is survived by her father, Orlis Roberts, her husband, George M. Nussell, her daughters, Brittany Fuller and Briana Nussell, her son, Michael Nussell, her sister Stefanie Rian, her sister Staci Roark, and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Roberts, and her sister, Kristie Ward. Deb attended J.J. Kelly High School in Wise, VA. She began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse at varied locations but specifically at Heart of Florida Labor and Delivery and later worked as an LPN Clinical Educator at Watson Clinic for over 20 years. Deb worshiped at Haven Worship Center, where she found solace and strength in her faith. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 1pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2pm at Haven Worship Center, located at 1835 Overlook Dr., Winter Haven, FL 33884. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Bloom Ministry at Haven Worship Center. This ministry was dear to Deb's heart, and donations made in her memory will continue to support its mission. Deb's kind and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her legacy of faith and selflessness continue to inspire others.
