David Howard Greathouse, 77, of Seattle, Washington, passed away at home in Lynnwood, Washington on Sunday, December 7, 2025. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
David was a Vietnam veteran, a devoted father, and a man who lived his life actively. He had a deep love for golf and enjoyed spending time on the course, where he found both joy and friendship. Above all, David treasured his family and took great pride in being a husband, father, and grandfather.
David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marjorie “Margie” Greathouse, whom he loved deeply. Though separated in this life, their bond remains unbroken, and there is comfort in knowing they will be together again.
He is survived by his children, Allen Greathouse, Brian Greathouse, and Laura Merced; his son-in-law, Jose Merced Jr., daughter-in-law's Kim Greathouse, Heather Trammell; and his beloved grandchildren, Brighton Greathouse, Kamryn Greathouse, Kingston Greathouse, Ava Merced, Jose Merced III, Elias Merced, Nathan Greathouse, and Liam Greathouse.
David’s strength, kindness, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
