July 28, 1980 — October 4, 2023
David was a man of great character, dedicated to his country and loved ones. He honorably served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army during the Iraq war, leaving an indelible mark of bravery and selflessness.
Music held a special place in David's heart, and in particular, he found solace in playing the bass guitar. His devotion to his craft was evident in his mastery of challenging and melodic bass lines, bringing joy to all who listened. Through his musical creations, he shared his deepest emotions and love for others.
David's warm and kind-hearted nature endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious humor and positive outlook on life brightened the lives of those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, leaving a void that cannot be filled.
He leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of his loving partner, Marisa, his beloved mother Patricia Moore of Olympia, and his devoted father David Moore (Kristine) of Lynnwood. He will be forever remembered by his sister, Karen Hollenbeck (Robb), his niece Evelyn, and nephew Cy of Missoula, Montana. David also leaves behind his stepsister Kameryn and stepbrother Derrance (Jordan). He was treasured by his uncles and aunts, Brian Teller of Portland, Oregon; Angela Teller of Battle Ground, Washington; Glen Moore and Ann (Ray) Smith, both hailing from Barrow-in-Furness, England, and Carol Thompson (Lee) of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Additionally, his great-aunt Nancy Rawlinson of Portland, his cousins Christian Teller, Jim and Steve Rawlinson, Janet Heinrichs (Dale), and Andrew, Scott, and Amy Thompson, as well as numerous second cousins, extended family, and friends, will always hold David dear in their hearts.
