Chrystal Weaver, age 61 of Southgate, MI and formerly of Pembroke Pines, FL passed away on Friday, August 22 at Accent Care Harper Hospice in Detroit. The daughter of Ernest Spence Jr. and Lois Weaver, she was a 1984 graduate of Ecorse High School's Adult Ed program. She furthered her education at Henry Ford CC and Wayne State University. She was a CPA employed by Arthur Andersen, The Gale Group, and Celebrity Cruises.
Chrystal loved to travel and visited many places over the years. She especially enjoyed Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
She is survived by her former husband, Rafael Nunez and son Christian. In addition, she is survived by her sisters, Cheryl Cohen of Southgate and Penny Spence of Miami Beach, FL. She is also survived by her nephew, Chrystian Diazgranados.
Although not related by blood, Chrystal has 4 very close friends who are actually like sisters to her - Anette Savastano, Claudia Beaudoin, Pamela Thompson and Jawanna Rocha.
Chrystal will be cremated at her request. A celebration of life will be held in the near future.
