Celebrating the Life of
June 16, 1956 — September 24, 2024
With a mix of sorrow and peace, we celebrate the life of Christine “Christy” Renae Wilcox (affectionately referred to as "Critter" by those closest to her), who went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2024. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on July 16, 1956, Christy lived a beautiful life filled with love and kindness.
Christy leaves behind her devoted husband, Warren Wilcox; her children, Robert Wilcox and Amanda Wilcox-Pittman; and her sisters, Cyndy and Laurie. Though her family and friends will miss her dearly, there is comfort in knowing she is now at peace.
Christy had a special way of finding joy in the simple things. She loved exploring the great outdoors, watching her favorite birds—Blue Jays, Hummingbirds, and Hawks—soaring freely as she embraced the beauty of the world. Her love for daisies symbolized her gentle and pure spirit, while her favorite song, *A Horse With No Name*, echoed her connection to wide-open spaces and the serenity they brought her.
Her faith in Christ was her foundation, and her heart was always open to those in need. She shared her warmth, wisdom, and kindness with everyone she met, leaving a legacy of compassion and grace.
She is finally home with the Lord.
