Celebrating the Life of
June 15, 1972 — December 14, 2025
Christina “Chrissy” Lynn Bohmer, 53, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away in her home on the morning of December 14, 2025. She was born on June 15, 1972, in Marinette to Linda White and Allen "Al" Bohmer. Chrissy grew up in Oak Creek, where she attended Oak Creek High School. She later relocated to Green Bay in the late 1990s and remained there the rest of her life.
Chrissy was known for her bold personality — outspoken, spirited, and unfiltered. She loved to talk, laugh, and throw herself fully into moments of fun and celebration. She lived freely and without apology, moving through the world with a strong sense of individuality and a free‑spirited intensity that was uniquely her own.
She had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs, who were among the greatest joys of her life. Her first dog, Chance, and later her beloved Diesel, who passed away in November, were her constant companions through many chapters of her life. The love between her and her pets was deep and unconditional.
Chrissy faced significant challenges, including a long struggle with alcohol addiction. She also showed remarkable strength when she overcame breast cancer in 2017, showing determination during that period of her life.
She is survived by her mother, Linda White; her longtime roommate and friend, Jim Leiterman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Allen Bohmer; both sets of grandparents; and her cherished dogs, Chance and Diesel.
Chrissy’s life was imperfect, complicated, uniquely her own, and filled with moments of joy, connection, and a spirit that could never be mistaken for anyone else’s. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is no longer struggling and is at peace, reunited with those who passed before her – especially her father and her dearly loved dogs.
