Carolyn (Jaco) Cook

Carolyn Jaco Cook died peacefully in Borgess Hospital on January 23, 2024 in Kalamazoo Michigan at the age of 72. she is survived by her 4 children, 2 step children, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren . She is preceded in death by husband Reuben Cook, mother Emma Jaco, father Rev. Alfred Jaco, Brothers Alfred Jaco Jr, James Jaco, and sister paulette swartz. She was born on July 27 1951 to Rev. Alfred B. Jaco and Emma "F. smith" Jaco, Married to Reuben Cook , she graduated from Flint Central High school. She will be remembered as a loving friend,wife, Mother, and grandmother. she was found in her garden most of the time when she was not surrounded by loving family.

We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life, we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
