Bruce E. Greene, 77, of Mundelein, IL, passed away on November 28, 2023. He was born on August 4, 1946, in Chicago, IL. Bruce had a fulfilling and accomplished life, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Candace Greene, and their children: Edward Greene (Sarah Greene), Lauren Holwell (Christopher Holwell) , Erin Kelo (Fred Kelo) and Brandon Greene (Jessica Drescher). Along with his nine adoring grandchildren. He was also a loving brother to Kathy Rick (Edward Rick). Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Greene, and his father, Edward R. Greene.
Bruce was born in Chicago, IL. He graduated highschool from Marmion Catholic Military Academy and he went on to receive a degree in Chemistry from the University of Miami, Florida.
Bruce began his career as a chemist for Brachs candy before transitioning into the financial advising industry. With a passion for helping others, he spent 30 years working as a Financial Advisor for various companies. After retiring from financial advising, Bruce embarked on a new venture and started Stadium Hots.
Outside of his professional life, Bruce enjoyed several hobbies. He was an avid tennis and pickleball player. Additionally, Bruce had a deep appreciation for cars and was known for his enthusiasm as a car enthusiast.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in memory of Bruce on February 17, 2024 from 1pm- 4pm. Friends and family are welcome to gather at Chrissoulas 602 N. Milwaukee Ave. Libertyville, IL 60048.
Bruce E. Greene will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his successful career, and his passion for his hobbies. May his soul rest in peace, and may his loved ones find solace in the memories they shared with him.
