Bobby Glenn Brubaker, 69, of Killeen, TX passed away suddenly on November 23, 2024, with his family lovingly by his side.
Bobby was born November 16, 1955 to Robert “Bob” Brubaker and Louise Brubaker in Temple, TX. After graduating from Florence High School, Bobby married his beloved wife, Cheryl Isbell Brubaker, of 48 years. They went on to have 2 children, Crystal (Crysti) Brubaker and Robert (Robby) Brubaker.
After graduating Bobby worked for many years at Wilsonart in Temple, Tx. From there he went on to work for Isbell Construction and Sprint doing telecommunications work, meeting lifelong friends along the way.
Bobby was an avid hunter and fisherman, which he passed on to his son. They enjoyed many times together in the deer stand and on the lake. He also enjoyed being with his family and friends just catching up and reminiscing. Bobby loved his family and would make a point to tell them that he loved and appreciated them as often as possible, sometimes with a hug but most frequently with a nightly text.
Bobby was proceeded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” Brubaker and Louise Brubaker, and brother in law, Robert "Poco" Maretick.
Survivors include his wife Cheryl Brubaker of Killeen; daughter, Crysti Brubaker and wife Lisa of Killeen; son, Robby Brubaker and wife Tessie of Jarrell; grandson, Tyler Brubaker of Georgetown, and granddaughter, Zoe Brubaker of College Station; sisters, Sharon Maretick of Bloomington and Debbie Boedeker and husband Bobby of Bloomington.
Currently no services are planned.
