Bernice Myrick, age 74, passed away Monday morning, July 22, 2024. She was born November 20, 1949 in Millen GA, Jenkins County. She was the daughter of the late Jerry Mosley and (Estella) Burns Mosley.
Bernice is survived by her caring and loving husband Darius Myrick of 18 years; her five children Carla Bently Moore, Annette Bently Smith (Danny ‘Lee’), Valencia Grantling (Patrick), William Carswell, and Kendre Carswell, her two brothers Jerry Mosley Jr (Sharon), Tommy Mosley (Glenda), and two sisters Annie L Mosley McDonald, Edna Mae Mosley Hankerson. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She had several siblings that proceeded her in death.
Bernice was a faithful and devoted servant of Jehovah for 37 years, introduced to the truth by her wonderful and loving friend, Leona Driver. She loved Jehovah with every fiber of her being. Bernice had a huge heart and a smile as warm and radiant as the sun. A true people person, she made countless friends and was dearly loved by all who knew her. She treated her friends as if they were family.
Throughout her life, Bernice embarked on many journeys, working in various roles such as a painter, cook, and caregiver. She had a passion for pottery, but her favorite hobby was dancing. She and her brother, Tommy Mosley, would light up the dance floor with their moves. Bernice was also an incredible cook, often sharing the kitchen with her sister-in-law, Mary. Known for her firm yet loving advice, Bernice was not easily angered and maintained a calm demeanor. Bernice cherished spending time with her family and had a great love for travel, especially enjoying cruises with her husband, family and friends. Darius family was very fund of her.
Her family eagerly awaits the fulfillment of Jehovah’s promises and her return. Bernice's favorite farewell was always, “see you later,” so this is not goodbye but rather, “I’ll see you later.”
TRIBUTE:
They say there is a reason.
They say time will heal,
Neither time or reason will change the way we feel.
Gone are the days we used to share.
But in our hearts, you are always there.
The doors of memories will never close.
We miss you more than anyone knows.
We love and miss you every day.
Till we meet again “Later” AS YOU WOULD ALWAYS SAY.
We Love You Always and Forever Mommy!

Tribute
To: My Wife
My love, my life, and my wife, although it’s very hard to say goodbye, it is not forever. My hope is in the resurrection. As long as I do my very best to listen and obey Jehovah's Son, Christ Jesus, He will resurrect me in the new system, and I can be with my beloved wife and greatest friend again.
Never did I have or hold a love so dear to me until I met and married Ms. Bernice Mosley. Her compassion for me was and still is greatly appreciated.
She and I truly loved each other, always doing our best to show and feel that love. I know that I will be lonely, but she will always be in my heart and mind. I will never stop loving her; it’s unconditional.
I loved the way she always did her best to love, encourage, and spread the good news of Jehovah’s kingdom message to all who would listen. She was truly a person with strong conviction about her faith in Jehovah and His beloved Son.
Thank you, Jehovah, for allowing us to cherish each other these 18 years and 7 months. We were truly blessed to have and to hold each other, for better, even in the worst of times. We continued to love and cherish what we had for each other.
She loved me, and I love her still.
This tribute is for my one and only, honey love, with all my heart: Mrs. Bernice Mosley Myrick, you’re still the one.
