My uncle was that smiling uncle that didn’t ask a lot of questions but always came through when family needed him. He had his mind made to what he was going do and it was done regardless who told him differently except for Granny told him differently. When I was younger he would listen to your stories, say “oh, yeah…ok” with chuckle, reach in his pocket and pull out a shiny 50 cent coin to hand. Watch you smile with your gift and before you could look up to thank him, he would be gone like Batman, lol. Boy, did he love a buffet!! And he could like nobody else!!! I can’t pass one without thinking of him these days and probably forevermore, lol. He knew his family well and would be so tickled when you told him stories of his sisters that he already knew…he just nod and say, “yeah, that’s about right…”. Uncle Peter was that cool uncle that everyone admired, respected, and loved dearly. He simply was the coolest man ever…He will be truly missed…may he rest in heavenly peace will be my forever prayer.
