November 19, 2004 — May 19, 2023
Baz Alexander Dage, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, He was 18 years old.
Baz was born on November 19, 2004 in Vancouver, Washington. Since he was very young he loved the sun, the beach, adventure and traveling. He was also an adventurous and clever cook who could often be found whipping up an elaborate midnight snack.
Baz was a compassionate and caring young man who would always look out for his family and his many close friends, and he had a lifelong love of animals. He loved the time he spent through the years with his extended family in Texas and New Mexico. He also had spectacular hair and a sweet, loving smile. At the time of his death Baz was a senior at Columbia River High School and Cascadia Technical Academy. He will receive his diploma posthumously in June.

The very last photo I took of him. Dekker, Demra, Jeff, Baz, and I went to dinner and I took this photo out of the blue. Just one week before he passed. I’ll always miss his presence

Baz. We will remember you for all your sweetness and charm. Kendra loved when you would sit on the floor and play beads with her. Serena considered you a best friend especially during Covid. My favorite memory is when you came over and raced a car through the house to tell us you got a new car making Serena jealous. You were loved so much.

Water fight with the Dage boys ❤️

Mmm, cake

It seems like he always appreciated butterflies

Baz used to walk around with yellow man in his mouth all the time :)

His arms would always go over his head during the best sleeps

I remember when I first met Baz in the 6th grade, we were both really close friends with each other and later on I knew I met a kindred friend because we had Band together, we played paintball together we went to Summer Camp together but most importantly he was also in a friend group with my best friends too but out of all my friends he was the most adventurous he loved to travel and do daring things as well as try and make new foods and they actually tasted pretty good even on the worst days he knew how to put a smile on my face also we went to Columbia River High School together for Freshman and Sophomore year then Junior year I transferred back to Vancouver School of Arts and Academics causing us both to drift apart and when I had gotten the news at school that he had taken his life I was devastated to hear that and I want to give my condolences to his younger brother Dekker his parents Jeff and Demra as well as all his friends and family that knew and loved him so well RIP Baz I miss you so much and I'm very grateful for having the privilege to get to know you I'm sorry I wasn't able to get to see you one last time and wasn't able to attend your funeral I have thought about you every day since and you will always have a special place in my heart I love you bro we all do and I hope that you know how much we all love and miss you
Having known Baz for 12 years, he left a lasting impact on my life. He was one of my best friends when we were younger and truly was one of my favorite people. Baz was so sweet and fiercely loyal to his friends. He made people laugh and made them feel valued and loved. Baz, I am so sorry we grew apart. I think of you everyday, and I think of the light you brought to every room and to everyone’s life. I wish I had stopped and talked to you the last time I saw you. I hope at least now you know how loved you are. Love you forever. Love, Anne
I can confidently say baz was one of my best friends and someone I always looked forward to seeing inside and outside school. He was the only person my age I could say I looked up to and treated him like he was a role model of mine. He could always light up the room no matter what the mood was and had a glow to him no one else could come close to having. I love you baz and I wish the best to your family
Baz was a great friend and coworker. I worked with him for over a year and he always managed to make everyone laugh and have a fun. I will truly miss him.
