Obituary
Arthur John Burks, 50, of Elmhurst Illinois, passed away on April 18, 2023 with his wife by his side.
John was born in Chicago, IL on September 26, 1972 and spent his childhood in Schiller Park, IL. John lived in many different places and worked in many different fields. Most recently he worked as a manager for White Cottage Pizza- Italian Restaurant and he truly enjoyed his job. He loved spending his time telling stories to anyone who would listen, helping people in any way he could, playing pool, being a DJ and above all else, being with his loving family. John was a kind and thoughtful soul. He will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched.
John is survived by his wife Nancy Burks, children Brandon, Jessie, John, Amanda and Steven, granddaughter Ava, mother and stepfather Jane & Arthur Slater, brother & sister-in-law Larry & Ursula Burks and countless nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his father Larry Burks I.
