Anthony Derra

Anthony Derra passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024 at the age of 50.

Tony was a huge part of so many peoples lives. His family was his world. He looked forward to each and every Sunday when all of his kids and grandkids would come over for Sunday dinners. He loved taking his wife Kristie on new adventures. He had many hobbies in life ranging from riding his Harley, fishing, and most recently woodworking.

Anthony is survived by his wife Kristie Derra, their 3 children. Cody Derra, Ashley Stroede, Tyler Sielehr and his grandchildren Ravonte, Cailyn, and Genevieve; loving mother Barbara Wermager; sister Ashley Wermager (Britton Lee), brother Steven Wermager; father Mark Derra; mother-in-law Charlie Stroede; also survived by his brother-in-law Tigger Stroede and sister-in-law Charitie Gannon; and many close relatives, his bonus daughters Jordan Steinberg and Nicole Kadrmas, many dear friends, and his dogs Max and Ace.

Tony is preceded in death by loving step father Thomas Wermager and father-in-law Scott Stroede; and some other close family & friends.

Tony's last selfless act on earth was the gift of life through being an organ donor.

A celebration of Tony's life will be held March 16 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Murphy's Bar & Restaurant 5344 State Rd 113 Madison, WI 53704. Please carpool if possible parking is limited.
