Angeles Delgado Thornlow

Angeles “Coco”Delgado Thornlow, 87 passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 22, 2024 in her hometown of Celaya GTO Mexico ,surrounded by her family. Angeles was born March 16, 1937 to Angel, Delgado and Maria de la luz Rivera in Celaya GTO Mexico. She was a sibling among 4 brothers and 6 sisters  Coco went to business school in Mexico City and worked for Campbell’s soup company in Mexico City as a general manager of marketing and publicity. Angeles married Norman Henry Thornlow on July 13, 1978 and became a mother to three children. They moved to the US in 1979 and she then worked as a travel agent .Hank and Mindy grew up with Coco as their mother,as adults They hope she knew and understood how grateful they are for raising them as her own, and being a mother when she didn’t have to be. Coco became Yaya in 1994 she has 4grandchildren, 2 grandchildren “in law “that she loved as her own and 5 great grandchildren that she loved dearly . Angeles was a devout Catholic, and active member of Immaculate Heart Of Mary in High Point Angeles is survived by her children, Mrinda “Mindy”Thornlow, Norman”Hank” Thornlow and spouse Linda, grandchildren Taylor Sprinkles, spouse Austin and children, Liam, Hunter, Abel and Ava,;Tyler Thornlow and spouse Jessica and child Seylah;Logan Danielle Hollifield and fiancé Zach Conley; Christian Thornlow Familia Nolasco Sanchez, nephew and family - Enrique Ortiz and Maria Paula Ortiz - Familia Hernandez Ortiz, niece and family - Luz Maria Delgado, sister - Maria Guadalupe Delgado Rivera, Sister - Tere Delgado de Nolasco, Sister - Nohemi Nolasco Delgado, niece - Familia Soberanis Contreras, niece and family - Familia Bucio Espinosa, nephew and family - Familia Delgado Guzman, nephew and family - Ana Elena Delgado Rivera, Sister - Familia Espinosa Delgado, niece and family - Luis German Delgado, nephew - Familia Nolasco Medina, nephew and family - Familia Nolasco Duran, nephew and family - Familia Benavides Nolasco, niece and family Daniel Delgado Rivera, brother  Manuel Delgado Rivera, brother - Jamie Nolasco, nephew Alec Inmon, great nephew - Familia Quirarte Delgado, niece and family - Marusia Delgado, niece - Diana Bucio Gomez, great niece Angeles was proceeded in death by her husband Norman Thornlow, Ruby Powers,sister in law, jack Powers nephew - Maria de la Luz Rivera, mother - Angel Delgado , Father - Dr. Luis German Delgado Rivera, brother - Enrique Ortiz Pecero, Brother in law - Martha Maria Delgado Rivera, Sister Paulina Delgado Quintana niece Adolfo Bucio Delgado nephew And her beloved dogs Bear and Will  Coco will always be remembered for her beautiful soul and all of the stories of her life and experiences. She will be tremendously missed by her family and friends. She touched so many lives , she had a kind and loving spirit , infectious laugh, she was a true ray of sunshine. * The family will receive friends on Thursday 8/1/2024 at 10:30 am at  Immaculate Heart of Mary, 4145 Johnson St, High Point, NC 27265 Mass to follow at 11:00 am Private Burial will be Friday 8/2 at Salisbury National Cemetery
