Angela Marie Lonyo, born September 18, 1975, in Naperville, Illinois, passed away on April 9, 2026, in Boynton Beach, Florida, at the age of 50.
Angela was a deeply outgoing, loving, and driven woman whose presence could light up any room she entered. She approached life with warmth, determination, and an unwavering devotion to the people she cared about. Her kindness and strength left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Angela dedicated many years of her professional life to healthcare, where she worked with pride and commitment as a Business Office Manager. She was respected for her leadership, work ethic, and compassion in serving both patients and colleagues.
She also had a deep love for 80s alternative music, which brought her joy and reflected her vibrant, expressive spirit. Angela especially loved the ocean and found peace and happiness in Florida, where she felt most at home.
She also had a deep love for her dogs, her Great Dane, Napoleon, and her English Bulldog, Rona, who brought her comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.
She is reunited in passing with her husband, Michael Scott Lonyo, as well as her parents, James Louis Capretto and Susann Allison Meyer, who all preceded her in death.
She will be remembered not only for her vibrant personality, but also for the love she gave so freely to her family, friends, coworkers, and beloved pets. Angela’s greatest pride and joy were her children, who were the center of her world.
She is survived by her daughter, Giavanna Surprenant, and her son, Robert Jr. Surprenant. And her siblings, James Capretto Jr, Christine Sigler, As well as many nieces and nephews.
Angela’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
