Amy Susan Freundlich was born on August 20, 1955 in Hollywood, California. She was the second of four daughters born to Lee and Betty Freundlich. The family lived on Blackhawk Street in Granada Hills, where Leanna, Amy, Julie, and Margaret made many friends.
When Amy was 16 years old, she moved out of her parent’s house. As a very independent woman, she began working for Citicorp TTI in 1975. Then, in 1981, Amy moved to Lake Tahoe where she had her first born son, Justin Lee. By the end of that year, Amy and Justin moved back to Los Angeles. Amy went back to work at Citicorp. Then, in 1983, Amy started dating the love of her life, Aldo Anthony Primo. By 1987, the two were married on the shores of Lake Tahoe, and Amy became a stepmom to Aldo’s son, Travis Anthony.
In 1988, Aldo and Amy welcomed their son Alex Anthony. The family moved to their home in Granada Hills in 1995.
Unfortunately, Aldo passed away in 2001 and Amy was laid off from Citicorp in 2006.
She began working as a manager at Western Bagel after taking a year to travel. Around the same time, she decided to start hosting foreign exchange students from Spain, Italy, and Japan.
After working for Western Bagel for about 3 years, Amy decided to follow her dreams and start acting. She signed up with an extras casting agency and began doing background work where she appeared in shows such as The Office, Glee, and Big Little Lies. She continued this work until sets closed down due to COVID-19.
In August 2020, Amy was diagnosed with lung cancer and lost her battle just six short months later on February 12, 2021.
Amy leaves behind her sisters: Leanna Hatfield and Julie Andress; her sons: Travis Anthony, Justin Lee, and Alex Anthony; her daughter-in-laws, Kimberly Lynn and Emily Michelle; six grandchildren, Maisy Lane, Gage Anthony, Ryder Allen, Jackson Lee, Sabella Gail, and Katelyn Hope; and many other family and friends.
Please share a photo or video, or post a heartfelt condolence to the family.

Sister Time in Amy’s bedroom. That room was a shrine to Amy’s life and loves ❤️
Amy, I miss our long talks. We laughed, cried about, and loved our memories growing up together. You were a great sister. You showed me how to have fun in this life. I am missing you so much!

The Andress family will always cherish the memories of many Thanksgivings spent together with Amy and her beautiful family. This is a shot from 2017

Such a cool lady and family to come into my life. I could listen to her talk for hours! She had so many great stories and life advice from her was always truthful, loving, and on point.

So many memories growing up on Blackhawk St. Our last visit we went to the Reagan Library. 58 years of memories. Love you forever my sweet friend.

This pic was taken at my house one evening when we had Lifegroup. Many happy memories!!!

Good bye my first best friend! So many memories (your family, swimming pools, Girl Scouts, the peach tree)

Ran into Amy on a show I was working on as a Fire Safety Officer (LAFD). We haven't seen each others since HS. It was great hanging out and talking about old times. RIP Amy.
