Celebrating the Life of
September 2, 1978 — October 25, 2023
Alicia Anne Clausen, 45, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on October 25, 2023. Alicia was a beautiful person in every way, who loved life and lived it to its fullest even while battling breast cancer on and off for the past 8+ years. She was relentless in her fight and served as an inspiration to all who knew her.
Alicia was born on September 2, 1978. She attended Washington State University Vancouver for her higher education and went on to have a successful career as a staff accountant at David Evans and Associates. In addition to her professional work, she also enjoyed her "hobby job" as a weekender at Bader Beer and Wine Supply.
Alicia had a deep love for dogs, horror films, cooking shows, the outdoors, crafts, and brewing beer. Despite graduating as a Coug, she was a long-time Oregon Ducks Football season ticket holder and a huge Ducks fan. #winforeltigre
Alicia is survived by her loving husband, Pete Clausen, her mother, Sharon Milan, her in-laws, John and Linda Clausen, her brothers-in-law, Geoff and Kevin Clausen, and her precious fur babies, Autzen and Bode Bear.
A celebration of Alicia's life is being planned for April 21, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to Project Koru, an organization that supports young adult cancer survivors. Alicia attended Camp Koru 29 in Maui in 2017 and was a volunteer to pay it forward afterward. Alicia Clausen will always be remembered for her strength, resilience, big heart, sense of humor, and the bright light she brought into the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
